Artist Nina Spaziani is the energy behind ninapatina, begun in 2006 to market her wonderfully unique surface and textile design work. While earning a BFA in 3D/Fibers at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Nina created and exhibited large scale sculpture in various media including handmade flax paper, Asian bark fibers, wood, steel, leather, and copper. Nina now applies her talent for color and pattern to projects for the home furnishings, apparel, dinnerware, paper goods and stationery industries. As an artist, Nina pulls inspiration from nature, history, religion and other areas of life and, as such, is always experimenting with new ideas and evolving her style.
